Tansi Tawow

Tansi Tawow is a Cree greeting meaning "How are you? Welcome." When you visit elders in my First Nations community, this is what you will hear. Elders are always happy to have visitors.

The music on this album is music for everyone. It has no boundaries and no walls. It needs no interpreters. Sit back, relax and listen to the music of the Native American flute. This instrument has a rich history and has been played for many years. It is one of the oldest instruments in North America.

Music can break many barriers between our many cultures. It is a way to communicate a way to introduce and bring awareness of our different cultures. It is a way to celebrate our common understanding of the world around us.

Enjoy the music on this CD - it is meant for everyone.
